To prepare the joints, we have a bath line in which the aluminium is treated prior to bonding. The treatments applied are: phosphoric-sulphuric anodising (PSA) and phosphoric anodising (PAA). In addition, we have an autoclave for curing metal-to-metal and composite-to-composite bonded joints.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The equipment used for these tests includes a Fourier transform IR spectrophotometer, a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and a dynamic mechanical analyser (DMA). To perform mechanical tests, we have various types of tools specifically designed to study these materials in addition to different universal testing machines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Annually, we carry out more than 400 tests related to the characterisation of the mechanical properties of metallic materials.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the characterisation of film-type structural adhesives, our quality system includes 29 standardised procedures accredited by ENAC, NADCAP and approved by Airbus, Bombardier, Embraer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Using these procedures, we perform the following tests on these materials: Analysis of non metallic materials by DSC, analysis of resin by FTIR, vertical Slump (foaming structural adhesive films), compressive tube shear, double lap shear composites, Single lap shear composites, single lap shear metal-metal, density of liquid samples, qualitative determination of non metallic materials for FTIR, determination of the extent of cure by DSC, determination of the glass transition temperature by MDSC, determination of the glass transition temperatures (DMA), determination to areal weight, determination of tg (DMA) (ISO 6721), determination of Tg and extent of cure by MDSC, determination of the flow of adhesive films, determination of the flow of adhesive films (IGC 04.26.325), film thickness (foaming structural adhesive films), evaluation of bondline corrosion (BLC), expansion ratio (foaming structural adhesive films), carrier areal weight, floating roller peel, peel adhesion test of tape, T- Peel test, climbing drum peel, weight loss of plasticizers on heating, pressure on liquid shim adhesive, peel strength at 180\u00b0 of adhesive bonds,
