On September 27 took place in Puerto Real a historic signing to launch one of the most important strategic projects in recent times for the aviation and naval sector in the province of Cadiz. The Agency for Innovation and Development of Andalusia (IDEA), Airbus, Navantia, the University of Cadiz, the naval maritime cluster of Cadiz and the Andalusian aerospace cluster (HELICE) sealed a protocol to build the Center for Advanced Manufacturing, the CFA. A new entity that will seek to become a benchmark for the so-call Industry 4.0, by now in naval and aeronautical sectors, although without ruling out other economic areas.

The CFA will improve the competitiveness of 40 auxiliary aerospace companies of the province –one of them, Titania- by providing laboratory equipment, machinery and research workshops. The deadline for implementation of this center is two to three years, although it is likely that temporary facilities in which already can begin to develop projects at a preliminary stage is enabled.

We share this video presentation of the future CFA in which Titania had the satisfaction of participating, showing part of its facilities.
