Research and innovation projects supported by the European Union through Horizon 2020 and previous framework programmes are having a real impact on the life of Europe’s citizens and our society as a whole. This is the case of the SEALANT project, a new contribution towards the challenge of avoiding the use of toxic and potentially harmful materials in the manufacturing process of aircraft parts.
The projects often have compelling stories to tell but is not always easy to explain to a large non-specialist audience. The Directorate-General for Research and Innovation at the European Commission launched an initiative to build up a portfolio of project videos to showcase the impact of EU funded research and innovation projects on our society.

The SEALANT Project counts on its video, too. And watching it takes less than 2 minutes!
