A joint initiative was launched over two years ago to strengthen the cooperation of the aeronautical industries of Andalusia and the Portuguese Alentejo, in order to attract more investments and improve the competitiveness of the sector in the international market. This Project is known as AERIS, which works to promote the transfer of knowledge, resources, training and cooperation between companies in the aerospace sector of the Andalusia – Alentejo cross-border area.

Precisely under the framework of this project we have received in our facilities a group of companies and entities of the Alentejo region linked to the aerospace industry, to know first-hand our technological capacity and main areas of work and lines of research that we are currently developing, and which have been growing thanks to a firm commitment to innovation and digital transformation.

Companies such as Uaerospace, Mecachrome, Toolpress or EMMAD took part of this aerospace delegation from the Alentejo region, which has also been made up of entities such as the Parque do Alentejo de Ciência e Tecnologia PACT or the Agência de Desenvolvimento Regional do Alentejo ADRAL.
