Titania has been assessed in the area of sustainability by an independent entity for the first time. In this first evaluation, the company obtained the EcoVadis Bronze rating, placing it in the top 20% of all the companies evaluated for its high performance in sustainability. This recognition has taken into account Titania’s work in four key areas: the environment, working conditions and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, and covers a total of 21 criteria.

Titania is committed to being a sustainable and socially responsible company. For this reason, it has a comprehensive management system with four pillars based on respect. This respect is oriented towards:

  • The environment. Since last October, the company has had an EMS which is integrated into the production process to make it more efficient and environmentally friendly.

  • The application of labour conditions and human rights that go beyond legislation. The company has social benefits that improve the conditions of the workforce. It is also committed to attracting and retaining talent by promoting equal opportunities initiatives.

  • Commitment to the social environment. The company engages with associations and entities that contribute to society by improving the quality of life of disadvantaged groups.

  • Ethics and good practices in order to prevent fraudulent behaviour, bribery or similar.

The fact that Titania has obtained this qualification in its first evaluation demonstrates its commitment to the environment, but above all, to its staff.
