From 21 to 23 June Titania will attend the 12th National Congress of Composite Materials MAT-COMP 2017, that will take place at Kursaal Congress Hall of San Sebastian, Basque Country. Organized by the Spanish Association of Composites (AEMAC), Mondragon University and TECNALIA, is one of the main Spanish forums where the latest research and innovative technologies are presented in the field of composite materials. This editions is specially focused on other sectors beyond aerospace’s, such as the automotive or railway industry.

Titania is one of the sponsors of MAT-COMP 2017, but also has an important participation in the conference program with several presentations provided by its technical and research staff, thanks to its expertise as a technology center in the study and characterization of composite materials.

Speeches are based, on the one hand, in several ongoing research projects in the framework of the ERDF Innterconecta program, managed by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI); other papers are linked to different internal developments that are being carried out to solve complex problems in the manufacture of composite materials; and finally, Titania will share research results made by specific industry needs.

Titania, within its Strategic Plan for R&D, has established as one of its priority objectives the study and characterization of composite materials, and will share at the MAT-COMP congress its latest research in other sectors beyond aerospace’s.
