From 5 to 7 March, the most important global event for the composites industry was held in Paris: JEC World. Fernando Serrano, Business Development Manager, José Rodríguez, Business Manager and Natalia Becerra, UK Business Manager, attended the event to represent Titania.
Titania was one of the ten co-exhibitors in the Spain V Pavilion organised by the Spanish Association of Composite Materials (AEMAC). Pavilion V, located in Hall 6 H108, was made up of AEMAC’s ten associate members from industry, academia and technology institutes. Specifically, AIMEN, POLYMEC, ZIUR Composites, EURECAT, IDEKO, FIDMAC, NEXUS Projectes, REINFORCE3D, Red OSIRIS and Titania.
The Cadiz-based company attends this international fair in its role as a benchmark centre for the number of technical testing and manufacturing capabilities for the characterisation and qualification of composite materials in different industrial sectors through its manufacture of panels by means of autoclave and Out-of-Autoclave (OoA) processes. In addition, new dynamic material testing systems were presented, including a Hopkinson bar for the determination of stress-strain properties under dynamic conditions of high strain rate, a servo-hydraulic dynamic machine in 100KN configuration for fatigue testing of materials and a digital image correlation system for measuring deformations.
The JEC World fair is an event where all the latest news, developments and innovations related to composites are presented at an international level and where business synergies can be created. As the Business team points out: “these types of meetings not only serve to learn about the latest developments in the sector, but also work to improve relations with our current and potential customers.”
In this 2024 edition, the JEC World fair featured more than 1,200 exhibitors from more than 106 countries and was visited by more than 41,000 sector professionals.
