Staff from Titania and Airbus Illescas have met last week to follow up on the AIR-UNION project, financed through the FEDER Interconnecta funds, which aims to develop robust procedures in gluing processes and carbon fiber repairs. During this technical meeting at Titania’s facilities, mechanical properties of co-bonded quality with alternative surface treatments were evaluated, optimized by the Laboratory of Material Testing, Corrosion and Protection (Labcyp) of the University of Cadiz, and autoclaved in Titania.
