Titania has just received 300,000 euros in financial support from IDEA, the Regional Government of Andalusia’s Innovation and Development Agency, 80% co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

After the state of emergency was declared, Titania continued working on the frontline with its entire team. The company learned to work remotely, taking advantage of the digital transformation that had been carried out in 2013, a key factor in its response to the unforeseen scenario that had suddenly presented itself.

However, after three months of state of emergency, in July 2020, the company had to implement a furlough scheme (ERTE) because of the sharp reduction in activity due to the 40% drop that the aerospace industry, the most important productive sector in the company’s turnover, was suffering.

Later, in 2021, Titania applied for economic support under the provisions of the sole article of Decree-Law 13/2021, of July 6, establishing an extraordinary and urgent measure in the economic field to provide aid to small and medium-sized companies integrated in the value chains of the aerospace and other advanced transport sectors affected by the economic consequences of COVID-19. The decision was favourable, and this has now been granted.
