From March 4 to 6, Titania again participated in the JEC World – Paris Fair, the annual event at the centre of the community working in composite materials and their industrial applications.

For the Cadiz-based company, this event provides the main opportunity of the year to approach its international clients and enjoy the opportunity to discuss current and future projects.

From its facilities in El Puerto de Santa Maria in Cadiz, Spain, Titania manages projects that include the manufacture and characterization of composites for more than 100 international companies in 30 countries.

Titania is an approved independent laboratory for major aerospace companies: Airbus, Boeing, Airbus Canada, Bombardier, Embraer and Rolls-Royce. In its 5000 m2 of facilities it characterizes the main qualified materials for this industry including prepregs and dry fabrics of fiberglass, carbon, aramid, resins, structural adhesives, cores, rivets, sealants and paints.

This year’s edition was the eighth time that Titania has had a presence at JEC Paris, and the sixth time that it has joined other key players in this industry at national level in the Spanish Pavilion, managed and supported by AEMAC (Spanish Association of Composite Materials).

During this edition we shared last year’s news regarding new capabilities and project developments. In 2024 our composites manufacturing centre based on autoclave manufacturing, was strengthened with an injector for infusion manufacturing, improving the quality and control of resin transfer, which was previously vacuum assisted.

The company is participating in projects with European (Infinite) and national (Aire, Dimpesa) funding in which we continue to develop capabilities for the functionalization of resins through dispersion techniques, spraying and insertion of microwires, making use of equipment for automatic application and control.

In 2024, the mechanical testing laboratory carried out the first fatigue behaviour characterization studies of high temperature composites and riveted joints. This new capacity for dynamic testing completes the wide characterization of static techniques, covered by Enac and Nadcap accreditation, with multiple tooling and static machines with load cell configuration of 1-1000KN.

The year 2024 was yet another successful year for Titania with record turnover and project financing, as well as a record number of clients located all over the world.
