Since its founding, Titania has focused its corporate social responsibility on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations, because we understand that we have a role to play as an agent of change in society. To date, actions have focused on eleven of these SDGs: Zero Hunger; Good Health and Well-being; Quality Education; Gender Equality; Affordable and Clean Energy; Decent Work and Economic Growth; Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; Reduced Inequalities; Responsible Consumption and Production; Climate Action; and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.

Focusing on environmental aspects, our commitment has centred on being a more sustainable company, contributing to a greener future. For this reason, Titania has implemented various actions aimed at reducing our carbon footprint and other polluting emissions, reducing water consumption, reducing waste, replacing energy supply with more renewable sources, among others. All of this with the aim of contributing to minimising climate change, which is a global concern.

Titania has taken a decisive stance by implementing measures that are applied through an appropriate management system. In other words, its operational processes are subject to the monitoring of the ISO 14001 certification awarded by EQA. A management system based on respect for the planet leads to innovative actions and investments to make production processes more efficient and environmentally friendly. Actions like this include the development of a digital document management system to reduce paper consumption, the implementation of a photovoltaic park capable of supplying up to 25% of the electricity we require, the replacement of a combustion vehicle with a 100% electric vehicle, the donation of materials to avoid waste, reusing water in other operational processes and the installation of a spray booth with uniform air flow technology with heat recovery. These are just some examples of proactive measures that Titania has integrated to become a more sustainable company.

Furthermore, Titania actively participates in the leading of the Andalusia Aerospace Cluster’s Sustainability Working Group. This forum was created during the first four months of 2024 to focus on generating synergies to respond to the current challenges of the sector. This action incorporates SDG 17 “Partnerships for the Goals” into Titania’s CSR activity.

To maintain standards of excellence, Titania undergoes regular assessments by independent sustainability bodies such as Intertek and EcoVadis, achieving ratings that place the company in the top 20% of businesses assessed for sustainability performance.

In short, at Titania we emphasise our commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement through the search for new ways of optimising resources and reducing environmental impact.

Titania, ready to be green!
